This post here is for personal conversations which should happen but one or both of us doesn't want to put up a new post/log and thus we will just thread it out here. This can be used to thread with Jay anytime and anywhere. This can either be in person (with action), or via the journal's call feature (voice and/or written).

For those who aren't familiar with Tales of Legendia, here's some reference material to help you get a feel for Jay's capabilities in battle.




Special Moves List

Base Eres

- Dagger
Throw an exploding dagger.

- Pyre
Cause an explosion under an enemy.

- Ice Storm
Call up ice under the enemy.

- Ghost Blade
Temporarily raise speed

- Silent Reaper
Cut through the enemy without a sound.

- Brutal Earth
Call up stone under the enemy.

- Merciless Thunder
Call up lightning under the enemy.

- Shadow Blade
Create a shadow that stops the enemy.

- Dark Cloud
Down the enemy with a quick slide and a final hit.

- Ill Wind
Blades of wind slice the enemy.

- Falcon
Throw an exploding dagger from mid-air.

- Crow Blade
Jump up and stomp on the enemy's head.

- Sparrow Hawk
Unleash a handstand windmill kick.

Arcane Eres

- Wraith Earth
Call up powerful stones from under the enemy. (Just a stronger version of Brutal Earth.)

- Wraith Ice
Call up powerful ice from under the enemy.

- Hawk Talon
A combination of Sparrow Hawk and Dagger.

- Flame Dagger
A combination of Pyre and Dagger.

- Silent Pyre
A combination of Silent Reaper and Pyre.

- Silent Lightning
A combination of Silent Reaper and Merciless Thunder.

- Shadow Reaper
A combination of Shadow Blade and Silent Reaper.

- Dark Wind
A combination of Dark Cloud and Ill Wind.


Compound Eres

- Fallen Idol
Destroy the enemy with one hit after another. Jay performs Dark Cloud, then Sparrow Hawk while the enemy is in the air, then Crow Blade to knock them down.

- Arachne Shot
Launch the enemy up and kick it down. Jay hits the enemy, then sticks a dagger in the ground, like in Pyre. A rainbow pillar of light knocks the enemy into the air.

- Brimstone Plague
Call forth mystical energy. Kind of like Pyre, but he concentrates for a longer time, and the rainbow-colored mist explodes beneath the enemy.

- Tragic Gale
Slice the enemy with blinding speed. (One of my personal favorites.)

- Shield Blast
Toy with the enemy, then blow it up. Silent Reaper leads into Shadow Blade, and Jay performs Crow Blade; launching him above the enemy. He throws an exploding dagger straight down, which knocks down enemies.

- Demon Seal
Stop the enemy and rain daggers down. Jay performs Ill Wind; while the enemy is being hit by the Wind, Jay jumps above them, and throws seven spread daggers below him; knocking down any enemies.
