All right...now that I've somewhat settled into this situation, I need to analyze what I've learned so far.
I woke up in this place wearing white shirts. Strangely enough, I now have wings on my back. The wings still ache, but I'm told that the pain will pass after some time. Perhaps I should sleep until then.
Upon arriving in the village, I was given a guide that explains about the situation, and about this world in general. This place is called Luceti, and we were all brought here by the "Malnosso." At this point, no one seems to know who or what the Malnosso are. Considering that the Malnosso apparently brought us here to conduct experiments on us, I doubt they are human. But on the other hand, I have noticed that not all of the subjects in Luceti are human either.
The village seems to be a perfect paradise. There is no concept of money, so everything is provided for us free of charge. Despite having my normal clothes taken, I was surprised to see my exact clothes in the clothing shop. I also found my daggers in the weapon shop. I'm curious as to why they would allow us to have weapons here. However, no matter how luxurious, a cage is still a cage. So I can't say this makes me happy.
I have spoken with a few people since I've been here. I was surprised to see Senel, Shirley, and Stella here...Stella especially. I remember she had died in the Legacy, so she might have been brought here from a point before her death. It also makes me concerned for Senel...was he brought here from before Stella's death as well? I was also told that Walter is here, but I haven't seen him yet.
I also spoke with a few people I hadn't met before. Well, not very many have introduced themselves, however. I did meet a man named Alexei. He's been helpful, but I'm still wary about trusting strangers. He appears to be a noble of some kind, and one can never be too careful around nobles. Some of them abuse their authority, and even those with the best intentions can let the nobility go to their heads. So I'm especially wary around nobles or military people.
I also met a woman named Martel at the Welcome Center. It was dark and stormy that night, but she treated me with kindness. The Welcome Center was built to assist the newcomers, or "New Feathers" as they're called here. Once I get settled in, I may volunteer here, to provide information. I'd still like to collect more information on the Malnosso, and more importantly, search for a way home. It seems impossible right now, but I won't give up. Something is bound to happen sooner or later that may yield some clues. So in the meantime, I suppose I'll just have to live here and be prepared to defend against whatever "experiments" the Malnosso try to conduct on me...
