[Voice] Trust?

[This whole "Christmas" thing has certainly left Jay with something to think about. Apparently, he's made the mistake of trusting someone and paid dearly for it. Well, he's paid them back, but that's beside the point. And thus, he'd like to get people's opinions to help him analyze a certain concept.]

I'd like to discuss something with everyone. How can you tell that you can truly trust someone? How do you know they won't abandon you?

Is it really? If you think you can't trust someone because they might abandon you, you'll have to refuse to lend your trust to anyone. People can vanish from your life in a moment's notice. That counts double for a place like Luceti.

I'm not talking about people vanishing from Luceti. I'm talking about people who would consciously walk off on you.

That's betrayal. You gave them your trust and they abused it.

Unless, of course, you did something to warrant being betrayed. If your trust isn't worth much, there's nothing to take advantage of. Then it's not abandonment or betrayal, it's your just reward.
