[Written] The Hunter

So that thing that attacked me in the amusement park is known as "The Hunter." Apparently the description alone wasn't enough to ring a bell. I found it hard to believe that I was the only one who encountered it. But it seems there were others who were attacked, and even injured that night. I suppose I should consider myself lucky to escape from it unscathed, although I don't like to rely on such a thing. After all, it was my strategy that enabled me to detain it just long enough to gain some running distance. However, since it stopped pursuing me after I left the parameter, perhaps I truly was "lucky." It certainly wasn't an easy feat for me.

I'm also concerned about the voice I recently heard over the journals. Someone was dying by someone else's hand...could that be another Malnosso experiment?

So the only reason that ball was set up was to protect us from the Hunter. I suppose John really does have our best interests in mind.

Yeah, perhaps people would have been more inclined to stay inside had they been warned about the Hunter being out there. Seeing as it's been released in the past, I'm sure most of them knew more about it than I did.

...maybe, actually. I know at least two guys who'd have run out gleefully to find the damn thing if they'd known it was there.

Yeah, some people are dumb like that. I'm confident in my skills, but I wouldn't try to fight something that couldn't be killed, as was the case with the Hunter.

So, do you know anything about this medic or the victim he killed? I thought I'd heard the victim's voice before, but I don't think I ever got a name from him. Just a small cat-like thing.

Hmm. Well, I never got his name. People seem to be referring to him as just the medic. [Sorry, can't conceive of that actually being his name just yet.]

He's got an accent and he thinks he was justified, that's all I can tell you. I missed the original recording, so I don't think I can tell you much about the victim. Sorry.
