[Voice] So Many Heroes and Villains

[After listening to the commotion with Yuber and Vash...]

So many righteous heroic types want to go after that man in black. So clichéd. I'm not thrilled about him roaming free either, but pursuing him is both reckless and pointless.

And that other man chose the perfect time to get killed. I was really hoping he would find a way to stop Kefka when he returned, but it seems that it's still up to me.

[LE SIGH]

Man in black?

[Sephiroth's interest is piqued: his clones were labeled that in the past]

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-01-08 01:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes. Unfortunately I don't know him by name. It's not Kadaj or Yazoo, if that's what you're wondering.

[identity profile] silvergeneral.livejournal.com 2010-01-10 05:43 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, the thought never crossed my mind. The two of them aren't ones for keeping their identities secret.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-01-10 07:18 pm (UTC)(link)
So I've noticed.

[Although Yazoo does have a mysterious aura about him that Jay finds intriguing...not that he'll mention that to anyone.]

[But about the man in black that he speaks of? He really doesn't know much else aside from his appearance and personality. That kind of bothers him...]

[identity profile] silvergeneral.livejournal.com 2010-01-10 11:12 pm (UTC)(link)
[Mmm... well seeing as that avenue of approach leads to a dead end, Sephiroth tries another.]

So what prompted your search, then? For this mystery man you cannot name.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-01-11 12:05 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not searching for him personally, but many other people are. He's recently killed one of the residents, so people are going after him for "justice" and "revenge" and all that. But like I said, it's pointless.

[identity profile] silvergeneral.livejournal.com 2010-01-11 01:29 am (UTC)(link)
[there's a long silence, because Sephiroth did not know this, and thus, is vastly displeased with himself]

And it is the death that is pointless, or the revenge? [he shakes his head] I only knew of the incident with Kefka... and he neither clothes himself in black or makes a secret of his name.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-01-11 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
Trying to pursue the man is pointless. We all know that people return from death here, so killing him would be futile. It would also seem that he has the ability to teleport, so tracking him down would seem to be impossible, let alone trying to capture him.

[identity profile] silvergeneral.livejournal.com 2010-01-11 04:52 am (UTC)(link)
[laugh]

Difficult perhaps, but pointless? No, I don't see that. There is always a way, it's only a matter of discovering it. In the meantime, it's worse to endure what could otherwise be fought.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-01-11 01:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Is that so? Well, in that case, have at it. You look like you can handle him in any case.

[identity profile] silvergeneral.livejournal.com 2010-01-12 05:00 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, in this I believe I'll stay an observer... I admit to curiosity, but not enough to chase after half-given leads.

No, in this I think I'll leave it to the... heroes.

(now with less mun-journal fail)

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-01-12 05:05 am (UTC)(link)
[OOC: Don't worry, I've done that myself...]

[Jay chuckles at the "half-given leads" line.]

I agree. I'd rather avoid him if I can help it, but I will face him if he attacks me.

[identity profile] silvergeneral.livejournal.com 2010-01-13 05:26 am (UTC)(link)
Is there really any other way?

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-01-13 05:40 am (UTC)(link)
I suppose not.
