Talking to him hasn't helped. Blasting him halfway across the village hasn't helped either. He wouldn't stop harassing me about this project.

My family... [A very sore sobject for him.] I don't like to talk about my family.

Okay, I'm sorry!! Do you have any pets, then? Oh!! Also what is your favourite colour? Mine is yellow! My wings are also yellow, although very very pale!

I just kicked him, really. He flies pretty easily.

I don't have any pets. Favorite color...purple, I suppose.

That sounds a little mean!!!

Really? Well, you can come and meet any of mine if you like sometime!!! Also purple is a really nice colour so that's a good choice!

Have you heard about Halloween? I am going to dress up for it because I have been told that is what people do!! It is not a holiday where I'm from though! Earth people have lots of holidays I've never heard of, you know?

Did you lose your memory last time?? I did! It was sort of weird.

It's not any meaner than he was to me.

I know about Halloween, and how the Malnosso like to bring our worst nightmares to life during that time. I can guarantee you won't be so thrilled with the holiday once you experience it for yourself.

I didn't lose my memory, because the Malnosso took me for their experiments.

I'm sure it will be fun don't worry!!! I am going to dress up as Little Red who Buffy told me about. Also I am going to try caramel apples if I find someone who knows how to make them. Have you ever had them?

Harassing me about this stupid project was mean. I told him to leave me alone, but he refused. So I was forced to use more drastic measures.

I haven't had caramel apples before, but I'm sure there's someone who can make them.

And don't worry, I'm fine.

Do you really not like writing letters to people??? I think they are fun!!! But if you really hate it we can always switch to voice messages or video messages. Video are my favourite actually!

If I find someone who can make them I will ask them to make you one as well!! :) We can try them together!

I'm not interested in making friends in this place. That's why I didn't want to be part of this project.

I was sent back right after the experiment ended, from what I understand.

[Pause. Maybe he could share something...something that doesn't involve him. Or she doesn't have to know that he was involved with it.]

There's a race of people called Ferines, the people of the water. They were at war with the Orerines, the people of the land. It is said that a Shining One of the Ferines, known as the Merines, would awaken and cause a great cataclysm, wiping out all of the land with the sea.

Are Ferines like mermaids? I have read some about those!!

So the whole world would be an ocean?

Not quite. The Ferines look as human as anyone else. However, they all have a golden luster in their hair, and they can make their hair glow with a blue aura.

Yes, they wanted to turn the whole world into an ocean, and drown all of the Orerines in the process.

We defeated them and made peace. Or rather, we're still making peace. It's a long and difficult process.

My turn!!

A long, long time ago there were two villages in the Earth Kingdom. In one village was Shu, a brave young man! In the other village was Oma, a smart young girl! There was a mountain between their villages, and it was on that mountain they first met. Oma was collecting herbs, and Shu was just climbing to spend time away from home. They began to talk, and at first they didn't realize that they were from different places - and when they did realize the other was from the village on the other side of the mountain, it was bad. Their villages were at war, you see, and they were forbidden to have contact, or to talk as freely as they had been.

But Shu and Oma had fallen in love, and they decided they had to find a way to keep meeting one another. In the mountain where they met lived giant badgermoles, and from these creatures Shu and Oma learned earthbending, becoming the first earthbenders. They used their bending to make a maze beneath the mountain, leading to a chamber in the middle where they would meet, Oma's twisting path to Shu's hidden one.

They met like this for many months, until one day the war between their villages claimed Shu's life. Oma was devastated by the loss, and she unleashed all of her bending on the two villages - but rather than destroying them, she declared the war over. The people, stunned by her display, agreed - and together both villages built a new city for both of them, which they called Omashu after Oma and her Shu.
