[Voice, Action for Moses] Jay the Beautiful
[Well, it almost seems like a normal morning in Luceti. (But then again, is there such thing as "normal" in Luceti?) Jay sits up in his bed, immediately taking note of the loose lavender sleeves he's wearing. Alarmed, he throws the covers off to see the rest of the dress; long, lavender, sparkly and shiny. Even more alarmed, he jumps out of bed...only to lose his balance on the lavender high-heels he's wearing, falling to the floor. He gets up and runs precariously to the bathroom to look himself in the mirror.]
[Oh dear Nerifes, why is he wearing a dress of all things? It's even complete with a sparkling tiara. He immediately rips the tiara off and throws it...but it only reappears on his head mere seconds later. So this is going to be one of those experiments, is it?]
[Jay steps out of the bathroom, making sure Moses isn't around. Hopefully he's taken Giet out for his morning walk by now. So Jay returns to his bed and grabs his journal.
All right...just what are the Malnosso up to this time? Isn't it a little early for Halloween?
[OOC: Chronologically, the action thread with Moses will come last, when he kidnaps this pretty "princess.".]

[At the bandit's warning, Jay stares down at his back. What exactly can he hold on to? Since he's wary about grabbing Moses's waist, he grips at his sash instead.]

[She says, while dangling the glitzy slippers from her fingers, grinning. But it doesn't seem like she's going to follow either, thankfully. She's plenty happy with getting something in the end, even if it doesn't include dinner. Plus, she's finally noticed Giet over there, and, well...she's not in the mood to have to fight off a Galf, thanks.]
Thanks for these! You can have your whiny princess, for all he's worth! I got what I wanted! [She salutes with her free hand, winking and cocking one hip outward.] Seee ya later!
[ And off she goes, into the darkness.]

That was damn close. Lookin' at those eyes, she woulda taken a chunk outta both of us if we weren't careful.
[Of course, don't think he's putting you down, Jay. He adjusts the princess in his arms, carrying him bridal style instead, starting to go in the direction of their makeshift campsite from earlier.]
Now you got no shoes so no walkin' for you. Don't think she'll be botherin' us again. C'mon, Giet.
[Once back at the campsite, he sets Jay down on an unrolled bedroll. He's actually unusually gentle for a guy who put chains on the princess.]
Sorry 'bout tuggin' on ya. Don't think you wanted to be taken by Bubbles after the things she was sayin'.

[Once he's set down on the bedroll, Jay promptly lays down on it. He's sore and exhausted from the whole experience now...much more than a princess can take. He looks at the chains binding his wrists, reminding him that he's still a captive, but for some reason, he no longer desires escape. He looks up at Moses after his last comment.]
No...not really.

Ain't much but might as well eat up.
[He sits down beside the princess, enjoying his own meal and tossing a few bits to Giet.]
Think you might wanna try wearin' some flat shoes next time. Those shoes we gave Bubbles weren't doin' you any favours. Can't say anythin' bad 'bout that dress, though.
no subject
Oh please, Moses. Can't your brain retain any information for more than two minutes? I told you that I didn't choose these shoes. And I would rather you not talk about the dress at all.
[He's just...tired of hearing about it.]

Then tell them damn fur balls to stop givin' you such crazy shoes. Could be a bit nicer since I just saved you from bein' eaten like a piece of meat.
[He dusts off his hands as he finishes off his dinner and feeding Giet.]
Best get some sleep, princess. Giet'll be keepin' watch overnight so we're not gonna get attacked without warnin'.
no subject
[He trails off for a moment. Why was the bandit putting him through this? He had already said he didn't have a real reason for taking the princess, so he'd have to let him go eventually...right?]
How long do you plan to...keep me like this?
no subject
[He shrugs lightly. It's true that it was just a spur of the moment capture but he now hates the idea of letting Jay go. Still...]
If I took off them chains, would you start beatin' the hell outta me? Don't you go lyin' to me 'cause I won't show you no mercy if you tell me one thing'n do another.
no subject
Fine...
[But once this experiment passes, oh, he will have his revenge.]

There you go. Guess you're free to run back if you're wantin' to go out there'n be lunch for somethin'. Or you could stay here'n I'll look after you.
[He's quite confident that Jay won't go anywhere now.]
If you're wantin' the truth, I'm bettin' that there was gonna be somethin' worse waitin' for you back at that box you call home. If it weren't me who took you, somethin' else would've. Then you'd probably be sittin' in someone's belly 'bout now.
no subject
Is that...is that why you took me?
[To protect him from those...things? Jay looks at Moses anxiously.]
