[Accidental Voice] What have we learned today?

Ah…it feels good to be my normal size again…

[A pause as Jay seems to realize that the journal is recording and quickly snatches it. He leaves it recording to give an intentional message.]

Did I say that out loud? …Well, no matter, as long as Moses didn't hear that…

So what have we learned from this experiment?

Not a damn thing.

[voice]

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-12-07 03:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Strange. I thought you might have learned something about your friends, your enemies, or complete strangers.

Guess I'm just not that observant.

[identity profile] touchedbystars.livejournal.com 2010-12-07 02:53 pm (UTC)(link)
That the Malnosso have a strange sense of humor? [Shrug, if you can even see that. He's just glad it's over.]

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-12-07 03:09 pm (UTC)(link)
We've known that for a while. Perhaps you're new around here?

[identity profile] touchedbystars.livejournal.com 2010-12-07 04:31 pm (UTC)(link)
You could say that. This is the first experiment I've been through, at least.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-12-08 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
I see. Well, it's just a valid lesson as any around here...

[identity profile] touchedbystars.livejournal.com 2010-12-08 02:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Not quite the kind of lesson I was expecting.

[personal profile] consultmybooks 2010-12-08 12:49 am (UTC)(link)
That the Malnosso have far too much time on their hands?

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-12-08 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
[Sigh]

Indeed. You'd think they'd be able to do something more...productive.
consultmybooks: (Deeply Concerned)

[personal profile] consultmybooks 2010-12-08 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, I'm sure they were able to gather some lovely "data" from this mess.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-12-08 12:54 am (UTC)(link)
Perhaps the main thing they were looking for was to see how we would react to these shifts.

[personal profile] consultmybooks 2010-12-08 12:56 am (UTC)(link)
Or to keep us distracted.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-12-08 12:59 am (UTC)(link)
That could be a possibility as well.
consultmybooks: (Hold On)

[personal profile] consultmybooks 2010-12-08 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
How long have you been here, Jay?

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-12-08 01:01 am (UTC)(link)
Just over a year now.

[Another sigh...]
consultmybooks: (Consult my Books)

[personal profile] consultmybooks 2010-12-08 01:08 am (UTC)(link)
Long enough to remember when they did this last?

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-12-08 01:09 am (UTC)(link)
An experiment this long, you mean? That's never happened in the time I've been here.
consultmybooks: (Hold On)

[personal profile] consultmybooks 2010-12-08 01:40 am (UTC)(link)
What about the time they had several going on at once?

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-12-08 01:43 am (UTC)(link)
No...I haven't seen anything like that either.
consultmybooks: (Neither amused nor impressed)

[personal profile] consultmybooks 2010-12-08 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
I spoke with another resident of the village who has.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-12-08 05:18 am (UTC)(link)
Is that so? They must have been here longer than I. There are those who have been here for about three years now.

The only "repeat" I've seen is the Halloween holiday, and what happened last year was nothing compared to what happened this year.
consultmybooks: (Deeply Concerned)

[personal profile] consultmybooks 2010-12-08 05:21 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, I think the one I spoke with has been here about that long.

It doesn't seem as though there were that many similarities between this Halloween and the last one. Apart from the costumes and the party. Last year they herded us and this year we, um, herded ourselves.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-12-08 05:24 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, there were certainly none of those hallucinations last year.

At this rate, things will keep getting worse before they get better...
consultmybooks: (Neither amused nor impressed)

[personal profile] consultmybooks 2010-12-08 12:56 pm (UTC)(link)
They have been already. In many ways, this event was a good deal worse than Halloween.

[identity profile] returninghope.livejournal.com 2010-12-09 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. I've learned that whenever an 'experiment' pops up, I should lock myself the hell away.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-12-09 01:33 pm (UTC)(link)
That would be a wise idea...

[Considering that's just what he did in this experiment.]

[identity profile] returninghope.livejournal.com 2010-12-09 06:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Tch. Seems to be the only thing we can do about them.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-12-09 08:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Indeed. Welcome to Luceti.

[He hates it as much as you do.]

[identity profile] returninghope.livejournal.com 2010-12-10 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
... Thanks.
