[Voice/Action] I Want My Otters...

So many different animals appearing lately. So they kept their promise after all. Does this mean that…?

[And Jay could be found in the plaza once again, observing all thee Lucetians and their newly acquired pets. If they're all showing up, then surely there must be an Oresoren lurking around somewhere, right? Jay looked around, hopeful…]

[Sorry Jay, she's not exactly good at hinting that.]

[He'll just frown now. This awkwardness is making him very uncomfortable...]

[Well, that's no good. Now he looks unhappy.

... Pulling herself out that fountain now. She'll need to come over and get him to smile.]

[Uh-oh, time to panic.]

Wh-what are you doing??

[She stops at that, looking at Jay curiously and letting out a confused hum. What'd she do wrong?]

[He stops as well, looking away shamefully. He didn't mean to startle her, really.]

[... Smile. You're so odd, Jay.]

[How is he the odd one? Jay looks back at her and...she's smiling at him again? Let's try this again...calmly.]

Now...what is it that you want?

[Hm. Well... she points to him, then points to her own face and smiles. That's what.]

You want me to smile? But I can't just...

[Forcing himself to smile just doesn't feel right...]

[Oh, right. The same trouble she gets with the Silverbergs. Um... Looking now, trying to figure this one out. She doesn't know what makes him smile though.]

[Finding him some otters might help. Or maybe if she has any bells...]

[Jay reaches into his pocket, and she might hear the soft ringing of the bell as he shuffles it around...]

[Her ears immediately perk up at the sound, and she mimics the notes it produces through a series of hums.]

[He notices her reaction, and pulls out his bell for her to see. He takes a step back as he does so, however. Look, but don't touch.]

[She chirps at the sight, brightening up. That thing makes a lovely sound.]

[And wouldn't you know it? That thing makes him smile. Razette would have to get her own bell someday, because Jay won't let go of this one.]

[She points to him again, then to the bell, trying to ask about it.]

[Putting the bell back in his pocket for now.]

It's my bell.

[No touchie.]

[Her ears droop at that. Aww, it's hidden now.]

Um...you like it?

[She nods quickly at that. Yes, yes she did!]

They have plenty of bells at the shop over there.

[Turns, pointing at the shop off to the side.]

[She looks at the direction he was pointing, then shakes her head. That's not what she meant.]

[Cue confused look again.]

Then...what is it?

[She mimics the sound of the bell she heard a while ago. She just wants to hear it again.]
