[Action] In the Wake of the Quake

[Backdated to just hours after the earthquake]

[After escaping the C3 building, Jay wanders around the village, investigating the chaos, the ruined buildings, people trapped in the rubble, and others digging to rescue them. And of course he notices Naoya's demons running amok. He won't be getting involved in any of this chaos, however. Perhaps if he were with Senel and company, they'd be playing heroes and exterminating the monsters, but not here. It's every man for himself. Or at least Jay knows that it's up to him to fend for himself. Feel free to approach him wherever he may wander.]

[Jay looks up at the barrier. It if breaks, then there could only mean trouble following.]

Is the barrier breaking? Could this be the Third Party preparing for another invasion?

[It would have been a brilliant plan, as half of the residents would be trapped and/or injured before the invasion actually began.]

We'll be utterly defenseless if they do.

[With the barrier broken, villagers may get their full powers back. Though, as the previous invasion had already proven, the Third Party's strength comes in numbers. Numbers Luceti doesn't have at the moment. Full powers wouldn't be enough to stop them.]

What perfect timing, right after we just thrashed them in battle last week.

It won't do to jump to conclusions, but let's be sure to help as many survivors as possible. We need to do everything we can to get the residents back on their feet.

[Although he's not to keen on the idea, but it is true that the residents needed to get back on their feet in case of such an invasion.]

[She sighs, before putting on a brave smile. This isn't the time to be sulking.]

I can't say the same about my apartment, though...

[Her gaze strays to the various crumbled community housing buildings.] Which apartment building do you live in?

[She squints into that general direction. ... Oh my.]

It was damaged badly, wasn't it? ... If you need a place to stay while you're waiting for it to be rebuilt, my house is always available.

[He'd still rather have his own place, and surely one of the remaining buildings would have empty rooms. But they would be filled soon with all the other residents who lost their homes. He would consider staying at Shirley's place, but he doesn't want to put up with Walter, and knows that the feeling would be quite mutual on Walter's part.]
