[Voice/Action] Taking a Time Out

I need to get away for a while, so don't worry about me. I'll have my journal with me in case something…important happens.

[So Jay has packed his bags and left the village, following the river through the forest. He's heading into the mountains where he eventually settles into one of the caves. He sits against the wall, wrapping a blanket around his upper body while opening his journal in his lap. After all, it won't do for him to be ignorant of what's going on.]

[So he'll be listening for any voices over the journals, or looking out for anyone else that may be wandering in the mountains. Otherwise he'll sit and reflect on what a bad week it's been. As if the love shenanigans weren't enough, he's had a few bad personal encounters as well. So he's ready to lay low for a while.]

[It's that turtle thing again...wait, it's not him. He's wearing orange and his voice is different.]

[It's just a kid...and now that he's got his attention Mike deflates a little bit. He's just not built for serious confrontation.

...but he steels himself again.] Why'd you hurt my brother?

Your brother...? I highly doubt that you'll believe me, but I suppose you do deserve an explanation.

To be honest, he was the one who initiated it. He threatened me with bodily harm, so I was forced to defend myself.

Raph threatens like everyone with bodily harm, dude. But he doesn't go around attacking just anybody.

Well, he seemed rather intent on dragging me into the forest so as not to harm me in public. I'm surprised he even had that much sense.

Don't you come near my brother again, you jerkoff. [Mike tosses his journal aside and there's a quiet "thmp thmp" of feet retreating, so if Jay responds he won't get it till later.]

I don't intend to. However, you may want to restrain your brother a bit. If he threatens everyone as you say, you might want to do something about that, unless you don't mind if he gets hurt again.
