[Voice/Action] Visiting Memorial Garden

[The feed starts with a quite audible, distinctive and very exasperated sigh.]

Could we just...pretend this last experiment never happened?

[He just wants to forget about it, but something is preventing him from doing so. He still has the flowers that Vincent Valentine gave him sitting on his desk, and he can't stop staring at them. He has to get rid of them...but he can't just throw them away. That just doesn't feel right for some reason. But he needs to do something before they turn into a bunch of dead things. Hmm...putting them in a garden sounds nice. The first garden that comes to mind is Memorial Garden. The perfect place.]

[So he takes the flowers and heads over to the Memorial Garden. Once he reaches it, he'll just toss each flower into it at random places, one flower at a time.]

[He knows what happened, and he can't believe it happened yet again with Jay to witness it. Vincent almost doesn't even want to acknowledge it, but as long as their unspoken agreement about experiments remains intact...]

Ah, good. There's no need for either of us to speak of this to anyone.

[Though Vincent admittedly IS glad that this is someone like Jay, who is willing to forget it ever happened. Some people would use it for endless amusement and never let it go.]

[There's a pause. Jay wants to keep talking, because it's not very often when they get to talk to each other when they're normal. So he'll promptly change the subject.]

So, what do you do in between experiments? How do you cope with all of this?

After so long... I almost start to wonder if it's possible to cope.

[Though he figures that yes, he does owe some explanation.]

My way is to withdraw... to retreat from the world and have some time alone.

[For various reasons, too.]

Ah...that sounds similar to what I do. Of course, I watch the journals for any information that may come up. Or perhaps for someone else that I could talk to. [Or troll.]

However, I can't lose hope. There are people back home waiting for me. People who are important to me.

I can't think of why anyone would want to remember them, if all experiments are like that...

Not all experiments are like that. But some people may choose to be funny and make fun of others with their own fates.

[He's been known to do it himself from time to time, but details...]

Why would someone do something like that?

[...actually, that sounds like something Nyanko-sensei would do if he were here.]

I mean... we're all suffering here together, aren't we? Why make it worse?

Some people only know how to cope with their suffering by bringing misery onto others.

I guess everyone has their own way of dealing with things...

I'm not sure I'll be ready to laugh about this for awhile.

Mm. [Just a nod. There's a part of him that's curious to ask, but -- well, that hardly seemed appropriate. Kaname isn't exactly jumping at the chance to talk about being a girl either, so...]

You said they weren't all like that... and this one seemed to be kind of random. Is that what you meant?

They all seem "kind of random." Different things happen each time. This one, however, seemed like a bunch of repeated experiments happening all at once. Also, it lasted several days longer than usual.

[Even though he himself is always pretty quiet on the matter, Vincent has people he would be there for back home as well.]

I understand. Without that hope... we would not have much else left.
